This information is provided pursuant to Council’s request to report back, following a lapse of time, on specific matters raised at the public hearing held for this application. Staff supports the Rezoning Amendment Bylaw which has been placed under the “Bylaws for Consideration” section of the agenda for Council’s consideration.
(b) Development Variance Permit Application DV14-007 (31630 & 31664 Bench Avenue)
This report details the development variance permit application to defer required road and boulevard construction works for a subdivision at 31630 and 31664 Bench Avenue and identifies the necessary variances to the Zoning Bylaw.
Staff support the application moving forward and as such have listed the Development Variance Permit under the “New/Other Business” section of the agenda.

This report details the development variance permit application to allow larger building envelopes for two new homes proposed at 7541 Welton Street and identifies the necessary variances to the Zoning Bylaw.

This report is provided for information purposes. Staff are seeking Council’s confirmation of the planned next steps for the Senior’s Centre Project.

RECOMMENDATION: Council consider and resolve:
That the proposed 2015 Council meeting schedule, identified as Appendix A in the December 15, 2014 report from the Acting Manager of Corporate Administration, be approved.
COMMENT:
Staff supports the accompanying Council Procedures Bylaw that formalizes the proposed changes to the start time for meetings and to the order of business. Accordingly, the Bylaw is listed under the “Bylaws for Consideration” section of the agenda for three readings. If approved, it will be advertised and subsequently listed for adoption in January 2015
(c) 2014 General Local Election
This report is provided pursuant to the Local Government Act that directs the Chief Election Officer to submit a report of the election results to Mayor and Council, within 30 days of the official declaration of results. No Council action is required.
(d) Council Appointments – Mission Community Foundation
RECOMMENDATION: Council consider and resolve:
